Man charged after Jewell stabbing

At 1:19 Saturday morning officers with the Jewell County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call telling of a stabbing victim in Jewell.

Officers arrived in Jewell to find a man with a single knife wound to his chest. The victim was transported to the Jewell County Hospital where he was treated.

Subsequently, a Jewell man was arrested and charged with aggravated battery.
