The Lawrence-Nelson High School golf team visited the Red Cloud Golf Course, Thursday, for the Red Cloud Invitational. The Raiders finished in seventh place with a team score of 415 for the 18-hole match The four lowest individual team member scores make up the team total. Other teams and schools at the match were Superior, Red Cloud, Doniphan-Trumbull, Franklin, Sandy Creek, St. Cecilia junior varsity, Deshler, Silver Lake, Bruning-Davenport-Shickley, Gibbon and Blue Hill. The Raiders participated at the Sandy Creek Invitational at Clay Center’s Crooked Creek Country Club Tuesday. Match results were unavailable at press time.
Conner Janda recorded the low round for the Raiders at 96. Wyatt Brockman shot a round of 99. Krayton Kucera had a round of 100. Blake Wroughton toured the course with 120 strokes. Clay Williams finished with 124 strokes.
