After a taste of winter with freezing temperatures and snow, conditions are supposed to improve for the garage sales scheduled later this week.
This is community garage sales week in both Superior and Jewell. Garage sales in both communities are advertised this week on this newspaper’s classified section which this week is on pages 15 and 16.
Included with the ads describing what will be found in each registered sale location are maps to help find the sale locations in both communities.
If you are planning to attend and have misplaced your newspaper or forget and leave it at home before starting out for a day of garage sale shopping, the ads are also available several places on the internet.
This advertisements will be found on this newspaper’s web site at superiorne.com and links have been provided on the Jewell County Record and The Superior Express Facebook pages. The Jewell Chamber of Commerce which serves as the coordinator of the Jewell sales has also listed the sales on its Facebook page.
The Superior Express serves as the Superior coordinator and will have extra papers available in the vending machine located in front of the newspaper office at 148 East Third Street.
All registered sale locations have received a bright yellow sign marking them as official participants.
Shoppers are encourage to read the ads, map their route before leaving home and then look for the signs once they arrive in a garage sale community.
