L-N was one of four teams that made up the Sandy Creek Quad last week. The competition was held at the Crooked Creek Golf Course in Clay Center. The four team saw Sandy Creek coming in first with a score of 173; Sutton was 2nd with a 202; L-N was 3rd with 203; and Fillmore Central was 4th with a 210.
The event was a nine-hole event and for L-N the individual scoring was: Conner Janda 47, Krayton Kucera 48, Wyatt Brockman 53, Blake Wroughton 55, Clay Williams 53.
The Raider JV team competed as well in their own event. Sandy Creek won this as well, followed by Sutton, Fillmore Central and L-N.
Competing for L-N were: Wyatt Hajny 57, Toby Kotinek 64, Nathan Elledge 73, Will Dougherty 84 and Corbin Karmazin 90.
This week the golfers will travel to Red Cloud on both Tuesday and Thursday. Next Tuesday they travel to Clay Center again for the Sandy Creek Invitational.
