The Superior men’s city bowling tournament was held recently at the Superior Bowl.
There were 12 teams entered. Individual scores were calculated using scratch and handicap scores.
C & M topped the team leader board with 2,964. The Bottle Shop was in second place with 2,960. Ortman Insurance finished in third place with 2,923. Double G was in fourth with a score of 2,872. Ray’s Auto was next with 2,865. Hubbell had a score of 2,835. Superior Bowl came in with a score of 2,828. 3-S Express had a total of 2,818. Farm Bureau scored 2,792. Harold’s posted a score of 2,774. Channel Seed put up a score of 2,620 while Deano’s recorded a score of 2,619.
Jerred Ehlers led the singles event with a score of 669. Ron Thayer came in second with a score of 654. Wayne Thomas was in third place with his score of 646. Kenny Rempe held fourth place with the score of 634. Kyle Bouray took fifth place with his score of 629.
Dale Werner and Mike Prellwitz topped the doubles event with a score of 1,131. Justin Carter and Steve Martin were in second place with their score of 1,224. Keith Pierce and Riley Sholtz held down third place with their score of 1,207. Kendall Fleming and Phil Simonsen finished in fourth place with the score of 1,202.
The annual awards banquet will be Tuesday, April 13 at the Superior Bowl.
