Kimberly Mohlman

Kimberly Dawn Mohlman, the daughter of Dianna (Parks) and Gary Land, was born May 31, 1991, at Gothenburg, Neb. She died Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, at Bryan-LGH West as the result of injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident earlier that day.

Kim received her formal education attending the Brady public schools. While in both junior and senior high school, she successfully competed in a number of rodeo events in the area. After graduation, she was employed with Cozad South Central Development for a period of time. She later returned to school where she earned her CNA degree.

She and her son, Tanner, moved with the family to the Red Cloud community where she worked at Springcreek Home in Inavale, the Blue Hill Care Center and then with Heritage of Red Cloud. Continuing to pursue her passion to help others, Kim earned her certificate in human development and went to work with Independence Rising until September of 2020. At this time she chose to dedicate all of her time to her three children and home. Kim at the same time involved herself with a part-time photography business.

Her personality was pervaded by a deep and compassionate concern for everyone she knew and touched.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Charles and Vivian Land,

and James and Jean Parks; an aunt, Carol Arena; two uncles, Ronald and

Steve Land; an unborn baby, Rose; and numerous other aunts and uncles.

Survivors are her husband, Willie Mohlman; and their children, Tanner Land, Audrey Jo and Aella Grace Mohlman; and her parents, Dianna and Gary Land.

Her funeral was held at 2 p.m., Monday, at the First United Methodist Church in Red Cloud with Rev. Bonnie McCord officiating. Interment was in the Red Cloud Cemetery.
