Superior traveled to Geneva to take on Fillmore Central Saturday. The Cats were looking to add a third game to their streak of wins, but a poor shooting effort (18 percent from the field) stopped their streak. “We came out a little flat and Fillmore Central came out with energy and confidence. We dug ourselves a hole early, battled for a while but the shots didn’t fall,” Coach Chadwell said. Fillmore Central shot 47 percent from the field to help them get their first win of the year. The score was 44 to 49. Scoring was led by A.J. Leibel with 12. Rebounding was led by Jedd Whitmore with seven. The Cats will host Heartland Tuesday, Jan. 12.
