Patrol car approved by commissioners

The Jewell County Commissioners met Jan. 4. Commissioners Mark Fleming, Steve Greene and Keith Roe were present. Houston Becker, deputy county clerk, and Brent Beck, commissioner-elect, was present for the meeting.

Travis Garst, solid waste director, presented the monthly solid waste report for the month of December to the commissioners. He said they have a lot to bail up. They will be working on that during the month of January. He said things have slowed down with the roofing companies.
