The Red Cross Blood Drive arrived in Nelson Friday morning for another successful day. Once again the goal of 62 donations was reached.
Some donors had to be turned away. The schedule filled up quickly, probably because the Red Cross checks the donors blood for the COVID-19 antibodies which can be used for COVID patients.

The women of Salem Lutheran Church served the lunch. Kim Oschsner and Mary Wheeland did temperature checks at the front door.
The Red Cross arrives in Nelson every eight weeks for a drive. All whole blood donors are eligible to donate again.
Mark the calendar for Monday March 8 when the Blood Mobile will be back. And also Wednesday, May 5 for the following drive.
