Giving Tree serves record number

The Nuckolls County Human Interagency Services team reported this year’s Giving Tree was a success with more families requesting gifts this year than any other prior year. And thanks to many supporters the requests were met.

Superior Pharmacy, Dollar General, Brodstone Memorial Hospital, the Nelson Post Office and Farmers & Merchants Bank in Lawrence displayed tags and collected the returned gifts. Student Council and FBLA members from Superior High School wrapped the food boxes and gifts and organized the returned gifts.
