Some Superior residents suffered a reduction in their residential water pressure Monday. An older main broke at the intersection of Eighth and National Streets. Approximately 20 homes were affected by the break. Eight of those houses suffered significant pressure loss.
The water system functioned as it should and reduced pressure was the result. Andrew Brittenham, City of Superior utilities manager, said the break was discovered at approximately 10 a.m. City workers excavated the break site. The break was located at 3 p.m. with repairs being completed by 6:15 p.m.
