My Crazy Life

Not a whole lot is happening at the moment for this family. Robert is back in the states now and, hopefully, will be for a while. He called today and asked what was new. I honestly couldn’t think of anything. It seems like life is just on pause for now. The kids are all planning to be home at Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. That means I’ll be cooking an cleaning like a madwoman for the rest of 2020. Maybe that way I can avoid some of the political nonsense going on right now.

I am recovering quickly from my surgery and feel so much better. I need to stop going to see the doctor though. It seems like every time I do, he tells me I’m lacking some vitamin or mineral. I think I now own every vitamin the store sells. My husband calls it my fifth meal.

Speaking of the husband, George is going stir crazy being stuck at home. I would take offense to that if I weren’t going a little crazy having him home. LOL! He has filled out many job applications with not much luck. I believe everything happens for a reason, so I will keep the faith and pray it all works out. It will work out. It always does one way or another.

Jacob has decided to try boxing in the place of basketball this year. I’m not sure it’s the best idea he has ever had, but it’s definitely not the worst. I’ve been wrong before; we shall see. He will be in a class with kids much younger than he, learning the fundamentals. He’s not happy about that, but we all start at the bottom.

Well, that’s all I can think of to bore you with this week. I hope this finds you well. X’s & O’s!
