The second round of Volleyball subdistricts was held Tuesday, Oct. 27. Thayer Central was the host and swept the Superior Lady Cats in three sets.
Coach Blevins summarized the match, saying, " The Wildcats couldn't take Thayer Central's offense on Tuesday night. In the first set, Thayer Central came out adhesively and got Superior down 0 to 8 in the first rotation. The Cats didn't give up. They fought back in set two and had a lead of 18 to 13, but Thayer Central went on a six-point run and went up 20 to 9 over the Cats. It was tied 22 to 22.
