Some counties may the decision to skip the polling place and instead rely on the mail-in ballots.

However, when the results are available, we will post them to our website.

As a means to help control costs when advertising volume is down because of the COVID-10 pandemic, three newspapers, the Jewell County Record, The Superior Express and the Nuckolls County Locomotive-Gazette are sharing one website which can be found at superiorne.com.

While portions of the website are available to everyone, some sections are available only by subscription. Subscribers to this newspaper are encouraged to also request a subscription to the website. The website subscription is free to those with mail subscriptions or it can be purchased separately.

An email subscription gives access to a digital reproduction of the paper generally on Wednesday afternoons. That will be of particular interest next week when a shut down of the postal system for Veterans Day will, in many cases, delay delivery of the newspaper.
