Pain specialist joins Brodstone clinic

Pravardhan Birthi, M.D. is the second new physician for the month of October to join Brodstone's Specialty Clinic Providers list. Dr. Birthi will visit Brodstone monthly, joining 25 other providers who currently visit the clinic weekly or monthly. He will be traveling from Grand Island where he currently practices at the Grand Island Pain Relief Center, PC.

Dr. Birthi earned his medical degree from Bangalore Medical College in India. He completed his internship and residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and his fellowship in pain medicine at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Ky. He was chief resident during his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency. Dr. Birthi is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and Pain medicine. Dr. Birthi previously served in the Indian Army as medical provider for six years and held rank of major. Dr. Birthi has been in practice in Grand Island since completion of his pain management fellowship.

"Dr. Birthi will also be joined in practice by his nurse practitioner, Susan Kryzsko, APRN who will be providing additional pain management services at Brodstone."

Dr. Birthi specializes in the treatment of chronic pain, neck and back pain with the goal of improving a patient's ability to function and their quality of life. He will be available in the Specialty Clinic at Brodstone once a month for both clinic visits and procedures starting this week.
