The month of August, 2020 may be well remembered in the home of David and Dawn Theer. On Friday, Aug. 14, little Henry David Theer was born at the Mary Lanning hospital in Hastings. He came into the world weighing 9 pound, 11 oz. and was 21.5 inches long. Joining dad and mom, David and Dawn to welcome him were siblings Preslea Adams and Eleanor Theer. Grandparents are Joe and Kay Theer of Lawrence, and Michael Kassebaum and Jackie Kassebaum, both of Hastings.
Another reason for August being remembered by the family is just four days before the arrival of little Henry David, (on Aug. 10) father David, spent the day at the Surgery Center north of Hastings having surgery repairing a knee. Dave was involved in a motorcycle accident in early June and suffered major injuries to the knee. He is presently at home using crutches to help him get around during his recovery time.
