It’s almost time for school to start and school this year will be much different for the Superior students.
While they will be meeting in the same buildings, the buildings have been rearranged and classroom assignments changed.
The junior high is no more. Instead the system will include an elementary school with grades K through 5, a middle school for grades 6 through 8, and a high school for grades 9 through 12.
The middle school will be meeting in what was the junior high. All high school classes and the PALS program have been moved out of what is now the middle school.
The PALS program moved to the elementary building.
A full-page advertisement about the school system is included in this issue of The Express. In addition a newsletter was mailed Tuesday to all homes in the district. It also contains information on how the school will operate this year.
School is currently schedued to start on Thursday, Aug. 13. That is just one week from today. Face masks will be optional.
