Plans for Highway 36 Treasure Hunt are underway

Seven Mankato Chamber of Commerce members were present for the July regular monthly meeting held July 8 at Bob’s of Mankato.

An update about the community garden was given. Phyllis Christie said

Steve has planted two plots of sweet potatoes that will be “you-pick” plots when the crop is ready. When the potatoes are ready to be harvested, they will be marked off and advertised.

The Highway 36 Treasure Hunt will take place as usual this year. In the past

booths have been spread out enough that they will comply with the social distancing guidelines. The event will take place Sept. 16 through 19....
