At 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, Keaton Meyer appeared in Nuckolls County Court with Judge Illingworth presiding. He was sentenced to 8 to 10 years in a Nebraska correctional facility and given credit for time already served in the amount of 360 days. He was not seen as a good candidate for probation. Mr. Meyer was convicted of second degree sexual assault and contributing to the delinquency of a child. Meyer will be required to register with the national sex offender list and submit a DNA sample.
