Unlike some counties who have cancelled plans for a fair in 2020, the Nuckolls County Ag Society plans to hold a fair this year but it will be much different than in past years.
Entertainment, open class entries, vendor booths and food service won’t be part of the fair but 4-H and FFA competition will go on.
The ag society in conjunction with the 4-H council made the decision to change the fair in an attempt to comply with the COVID-19 regulations. The youth shows and static exhibits will not be open to the general pubic. However, there will still be competition in both livestock and static categories for the 4-H and FFA members.
Many details related to the fair are still being finalized.
The Thayer County Fair is expected to have similar changes.
