Many of our traditional Memorial Day activities will not be held this year because of the health risks. However, the owner of the Oxbow Motel reports the following: “We will be putting up 1020 American flags in front of the OXBOW MOTEL for Memorial Day weekend. Each flags represents a Veteran that is buried in Nuckolls County. Please stop by the motel and reflect on the flags and the list of names that each flag in displayed for. This is a memorial display that you don’t want to miss.
