Local students earn Reinke scholarships

Over the past 16 years, the Reinke Scholarship program has given out 147 scholarships.

The following area recipients will receive Reinke Community Scholarships worth $500:

Regan Alfs is the daughter of Bryan and Kari Jo Alfs. She will graduate from Shickley High School and plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to study agriculture.

Jessica Jensen is the daughter of Kirk and Stephanie Jensen. She will graduate from Pike Valley High School and plans to study agriculture at Kansas State University.

Bailey Kiburz is the daughter of Tom and Sara Kiburz. She will graduate from Thayer Central High School and will major in mechanical engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Trevin Kotinek is the son of Kris and Peggy Kotinek. He will graduate from Lawrence-Nelson High School. He plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Omaha to study computer science engineering.

Trevor Martin is the son of Brent and Melissa Martin. He will graduate from Republic County High School and plans to study business administration at Creighton University.

Kalynn Meyer is the daughter of Andy and Peggy Meyer. She will graduate from Superior Public Schools and plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to study agricultural engineering.

The following recipients will receive a $1,000 Reinke Employee-Student Scholarship:

James Snyder is the son of Jim and Julie Snyder. He will graduate from Nebraska Online and plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to study biological sciences with an emphasis on pre-dental studies. His father, Jim, is vice president of International Sales at Reinke.

Shaelynn Goodall is the daughter of Ken and Susan Goodall. She graduated from Deshler High School and is currently studying secondary education at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Her father, Ken, is the director of North American Sales at Reinke.

Adam Roth is the son of Chris and Kim Roth. He will graduate from Deshler High School and will be in the honors program majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in business at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His father, Chris, is president of Reinke.
