Superior further restricts access

As a follow-up to the Directed Health Measure enacted by Governor Ricketts last Tuesday, the City of Superior began restricting access to playground equipment in both parks as well as the bandshell in the City Park. All public restrooms are closed until further notice. The parks will remain available for residents to walk and enjoy being outdoors but social distancing is still required for the health and safety of the public. Overnight camping in Lincoln Park is allowed but priority for spots will be given to health care workers and first responders should they need to self-isolate from their families because of virus spread.

Access to the library is also limited. Staff will maintain regular hours and be available to assist patrons in selecting reading material. Anyone wanting assistance is asked to call the library to discuss their reading needs with the librarians. The librarian will gather books and deliver them to patrons at the door or curbside. Call the library for further information (402) 879-4200.
