Kansas State Parks remain open

Though many things in Kansas are closed and travel restrictions may apply, state parks remain open but the situation isn’t simple. Some facilities are closed including all state park offices. Currently the offices are set to open April 20. Park staff may be reached by telephone. Reservations and permit sales are being processed.

Opening of the deluxe camping cabins at Lovewell will be delayed. The rustic cabins are open and can be reserved. The Walleye Point restroom is open and Walleye Point and South Willow utility campgrounds are open. The opening of the other campgrounds and restroom facilities may be delayed depending upon the COVID-19 guidelines.
