The Rock Hills boys basketball team saw their hopes for a trip to the state championship dashed when they fell to Logan, 66-43, at Mankato. Monday. The Grizzlies ended their regular season schedule with a 71-52 win over Southern Cloud at Mankato last Tuesday. They won their final regular season game with a 66-56 win over Thunder Ridge, 59-22 at Mankato Friday.
The Grizzlies 2019-2020 regular season record was 12-7. For seniors Keegan Wagner, Noah Williams and Rylee Whelchel the regional game marked the end of their Rock Hill basketball careers.
Williams led the Grizzlies against Logan with 19 points. Jerrod Gillett contributed 12 points. Davion McDonald added five points Jensen Eilert scored four points. Mason Higer dropped through three points.
The team will return an experienced core of underclassmen next season.
