Embers catch grass on fire near Nelson

Late Saturday morning Nelson Volunteer Fire Department was called to a fire north west of Nelson. An ember from a burn barrel caught the surrounding grass on fire. The property owner was able to get the fire under control before the emergency crew arrived. Nelson fire turned around mid-route and returned to the barn.
