This year marks the launch of the BCom Solutions Rural Digital Partnership Program and the Rural Digital Partnership expansion. The program will expand the agency’s reach to key rural communities with a spirit and desire to grow while doubling the size of the BCom team.
Brent Comstock, the company founder and CEO, describes the program as an investment in rural communities like Superior, the latest addition to the pilot group of four communities across the midwest.
“This is an opportunity for communities like Superior to not only gain jobs in their community but provide businesses in the area with full-service digital marketing and agency communication services. We are really doubling down on the commitment we have to rural.”
With the first round of pilot programs in the activation phase, communities are undergoing a process of evaluation and investment. Applications were submitted for consideration in 2019. They were then vetted and eventually selected to be a part of the program. Once this process is complete, hiring a full-time local digital strategist is the next priority.
“We’ve looked for communities with a growth mindset when it comes to economic development and an interest and ability to expand their digital job market,” said Comstock. “BCom will hire local digital strategists to work within the community while providing them with resources, talent development and serving as a partner in growth.”
“BCom’s roots are rural, and we celebrate that. We started small in Auburn, Nebraska, and want to help other communities on that path,” Comstock noted.
BCom, a digital agency for rural America, is based in southeast Nebraska with offices in Auburn and Lincoln. The company focuses on rural communities, causes and campaigns. The company has worked in the past on Superior projects with Brodstone Memorial Hospital and the Huge Foundation.
