The Lawrence-Nelson girls basketball team couldn’t come closer to winning than they did Friday when they visited Friend. The Friend Bulldogs handed the Raiders a heartbreaking 35-34 loss. The results we received were as following: Rowan Jarosik (14-5) placed third at the meet and scored 20 team points. Rowan won his first round with a bye.
