Coe Neilson competed for Rock Hills at the KSHSAA 3A/2A/1A championship meet at Fort Hays University Friday and Saturday. Neilson wrestled in the 106 pound weight bracket. He won his opening round match by fall over Andrew Stewart of Pleasant Ridge. He lost by a fall to Cohen Kaiser, Plainville, in his next match. The loss relegated Neilson to the consolation round. The Wildcats saw their way to Lincoln derailed by a 53-41 loss to the Crofton Warriors at Central Community College, Columbus, Friday. Kalynn Meyer, a 2020 Superior High School graduate, was a dominant student-athlete. She was a major force on the volleyball, girls basketball and track teams. The top four winners in each weight class qualified for the trip to Omaha and the state wrestling meet.
