    The Rock Hills High School boys basketball team fell to the Osborne Bulldogs 54-26 in their regular season finale. The Grizzlies were eliminated from sub-state play when they fell to Lincoln, 43-24, at Lincoln, Friday. The loss left Rock Hills with a 3-16 record for the season. Rock Hills trailed 24-5 at the half.   • Neilson wrestles at state meet

    Coe Neilson competed for Rock Hills at the KSHSAA 3A/2A/1A championship meet at Fort Hays University Friday and Saturday. Neilson wrestled in the 106 pound weight bracket. He won his opening round match by fall over Andrew Stewart of Pleasant Ridge. He lost by a fall to Cohen Kaiser, Plainville, in his next match. The loss relegated Neilson to the consolation round. He lost his second round consolation because of a medical forfeit. Neilson is a sophomore who will return next season with his sights set on a state title....

    The Superior High School girls basketball team will not be returning to the state Class C-2 tournament for this year. The Wildcats saw their way to Lincoln derailed by a 53-41 loss to the Crofton Warriors at Central Community College, Columbus, Friday. The Wildcats spurted out to an early lead but were unable to retain their momentum. After leading 12-11 at the end of the first quarter, Superior began to slide behind the Warriors.     Kalynn Meyer, a 2020 Superior High School graduate, was a dominant student-athlete. She was a major force on the volleyball, girls basketball and track teams. She made an early commitment to play volleyball at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Meyer was a dominating figure in her high school track days.     The Superior High School boys basketball team saw their road to the state tournament swept away with a 59-26 loss to Hastings St. Cecelia at Hastings last Tuesday. It was the clash of Eagles as B-D-S downed the Elgin Public-Pope John Eagles, 63-57, in overtime, at Shelby-Rising City High School, Shelby, Friday.     The Superior High School wrestling team competed at the state tournament held at Omaha's CHI health Center Friday and Saturday. Superior finished in 23rd place, with 24 points in the 53 team field. The Wildcats qualified three wrestlers for the match: Hayden Neeman, 126 pounds, Anders Webber, 220 pounds and Payton Christiancy, 285 pounds.
