The Lawrence-Nelson boys varsity and junior varsity golf teams competed at the Sandy Creek quadrangular match last Tuesday. Wyatt Brockman and Wyatt Hajny each shot a round of 45. The Superior Public Schools NASP Archery team competed at state in Lincoln on March 19. Elementary team 4th and 5th graders had 20 team members, middle school had nine members, high school had four members this year. The elementary team placed third with a score of 2,429. In March students competed in Lincoln at the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) State Tournament. This also included a new event for students to complete, IBO (International Bowhunting Organization) 3D Challenge, Lawrence-Nelson took a team of six from elementary, middle and high school. Lauren Whelchel, a Rock Hills High School six-foot forward, was listed on a list of top 25 girls basketball players to watch in western Kansas.
