Rayne Biltoft, the lone Superior High School girls golf team qualifier for the state championship match played over the Lake Maloney Golf Club course at North Platte, was in 72nd place with her round of 113 after Monday’s opening round. So close yet so far away. That was the theme for the Superior Wildcats, Friday, as they played the Heartland Community Huskies in a rare afternoon game. Last Friday night in Axtell, two points meant a victory for Axtell over the L-N Raider football team by a score of 22-20. With the football schedule now about one-half over, fans are starting to look at district standings as well. For the L-N District the loss changed the standings as well.
