    The Superior High School boys and girls track and field teams competed at the Sandy Creek Invitational last Tuesday. The girls team finished in fifth place, with 51.5 points, in the field of Central City, Fairbury, Hastings St. Cecilia, Doniphan-Trumbull, Sandy Creek, Heartland and Sutton. The boys team finished in ninth place with four points. Lincoln Christian did not field a girls team. Khloe Mundorf was in third place in the girls 100 meter dash with her time of 13.48 seconds. The girls team finished in eighth place, with 27 points, in the 12 team field of Loomis, Deshler, Silver Lake, Shelton, Gibbon, Wilcox-Hildreth, Franklin, Red Cloud, Heartland Lutheran, Hi-Line and Blue Hill.     The Lawrence-Nelson golf team took part in the Sandy Creek quadrangular match at Crooked Creek Country Club at Clay Center last Tuesday. The teams continue to impress as two school records were broken at this meet. Grace Ayers secured third place in the long jump. Savannah Coil was in eighth place in the triple jump. They led the Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs 39-35 going into the fourth quarter at the game at Sumner Saturday. Then it all fell apart.
