Sadie Rempel is the 16-year-old daughter of Brent and Lea Rempel. The family lives on a small farm north of Nelson. Sadie will be a junior at Superior High School this fall. In spite of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Softball season in Nebraska did take place. The pandemic did have an effect on the summer program, but all-in-all, the season was successful. The weather conditions were ideal fore Sunday's 39th annual Firekracker Run in Superior. The temperature was in the 70s.
