    Vernon Paul Yung, 62, was born Jan. 4, 1958, in Superior, to Russell and Hilda (Keller) Yung and died at his residence Aug. 12, 2020. Vernon lived on the family farm in rural Guide Rock until six years old. He then moved to Martin Luther Home Society in Beatrice where he received special school and training for life skills. At 18, Vernon moved to Hastings and resided there the rest of his life.
