    The Nuckolls County Board of Commissioners met at the county courthouse in Nelson Monday. The board approved routine claims. The board approved the purchase of a road maintainer for the county road department from Murphy Tractor in Grand Island.     Included in the public notice section of today’s newspaper is the notice of a formation of a non-profit limited liability corporation known as Stage 4 Furniture. The idea around which Stage 4 was formed was developed by the late Matt Carpenter. A Superior resident who contracted cancer and died at age 35 earlier this year.     Monday evening members of the Superior Board of Education approved a total tax levy of 1.111785 down from 1.186505 last year. This year’s levy is the lowest asking rate in the past six years. However, it does represent a three percent increase in local tax revenue because valuation has increased. Thus tax bills will be higher.
