Todd spent his childhood years and received his formal education attending the Mankato schools. Excelling as a left-handed baseball pitcher, Todd continued at Kansas State University for a short time until an injury ended his baseball career. The four members of the city council present for Monday night’s meeting approved the hiring of Brenda Corman to fill the position which has been vacant since the resignation of Stuart Alsup.
