    The Superior High School gymnasium was filled to capacity Saturday as the largest class in recent years received their diplomas. Famil and friends of the 42 graduating seniors filled the bleachers and floor seats. The air conditioning was a boon as the outside temperature soared into the upper 80s.     Hardy and Superior fire departments and the Superior Rescue Squad were among emergency service agencies responding to a call for assistance during the storm Sunday night. The call for help came in from an apparently disoriented person reporting a semitrailer truck had overturned along Highway 8 someplace east of Superior but west of Chester.     The sale of Superior Bowl to Deb and Travis May moved a step closer to reality Monday when the Superior City Council approved the Mays’ request for two low interest loans.     On Saturday and Sunday, April 29 and 30, members of the Jewell Christian Church celebrated the congregation’s 150th anniversary. The church was actually organized in February of 1873, with a membership of 21. The celebration started on Saturday, at 5 p.m. with a Prayer Walk at Emerson Lake. The prayer time and devotions were based over the Lord’s Prayer. After the Prayer Walk, a meal of hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, potato chip, and brownies was provided for the members and guests.
