A Jewell County farmer is organizing a religious event he is calling a “Harvest Revival” to beheld in one of his family’s large farm sheds on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 20 and 21. Friday the Kansas Department of Transportation began resurfacing about 11 miles on U.S. 36 and K-112 in Jewell County. Ranch cowboys get their chance to shine at the Oregon Trail Rodeo in Hastings Friday through Saturday. For the second year, ranch bronc riding will be one of the eight events featured at the rodeo.
