USDA recently mailed its 2022 Census of Agriculture to all known agriculture producers across the nation and Puerto Rico. A letter distributed this week to irrigators served by the Superior Canal reported the Bostwick Irrigation District in Nebraska is now considering the construction of a Republican River Diversion Dam and pumping station to be located south of the Aurora Cooperative’s Superior East elevator. Jewell County farmer, the late Roger Underwood, directed a $5,000 Bayer Fund America’s Farmers Grow Communities donation to Jewell County Helping Hands Ministries.
