The Lawrence-Nelson girls basketball team couldn’t come closer to winning than they did Friday when they visited Friend. The Friend Bulldogs handed the Raiders a heartbreaking 35-34 loss. The Shelton Bulldogs visited Nelson Tuesday with game results unavailable at press time. Lawrence-Nelson led 18-16 at the half.
