    Ted Edwin Delka was born Sept. 1, 1939, the third child to Harold and Olive (Smith) Delka. Ted grew up going to country school south of Red Cloud and later in Nuckolls County. He went to work as a very young man for Clint Warnecke. He lived with Clint and Minnie for a time and learned a great deal about farming and caring for livestock from Clint.     Edna Marie Moore, 91, recently of Lenexa, Kansas, died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022. Edna was born in Rulo, Nebraska on April 19, 1931, to Charley and Kate Wissman. She was raised on the farm near Rulo until moving to Falls City. She worked hard, making sure the job was done right. Edna enjoyed being with her friends and going out to dance.     The ending of Leota Clawson's time on earth with her friends and family came to a close on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022, at the Nicol Home in Glasco, where she had resided the past several months. She was 90 years old at her death. Leota was born in the family home in Jewell County on Christmas Eve in 1931. She was the daughter of Loren and Doris Mahin.     Norman Deane (Jack) Mumford 84, of Hebron, the son of Chrisley and Lois (Holsteen) Mumford was born Sept. 8, 1938, in Hastings. He died Saturday, December 17, at Liberty House in Fairmont. Jack grew up in Nelson, Neb., attended Nelson High School and graduated from Central Community College as a machinist. Jack enlisted in the United States Navy Sept. 9, 1955.
