    Rodney Delano (R.D., Rod) Fogo, 89, former CEO and chief engineer of the Kansas Turnpike Authority (KTA), died Nov. 16, 2022, in Saint Augustine, Florida. Rod was the youngest of 12 children, born during the Great Depression to William Lambie and Nellie Sinaloa (Calahan) Fogo on their farm outside Burr Oak, Kansas, in Jewell County on Oct. 27,1933.     Gordon Kibbe, 93, died peacefully in hospice care in Redwood City, Calif., on October 29, 2022. He was born November 6, 1928, in Beloit, to Jake and Emma Kibbe of Randall. He was the first-born of five sons. Gordon graduated in the Class of 1946 from Randall Rural High School, and attended Fort Hays State College and later earned an associate of arts degree from College of San Mateo. He died Nov. 20, 2022, at Thayer County Health Services, Hebron, Nebraska, at the age of 67 years. His final resting place will be in his treasured hometown of Byron, Nebraska at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
