The Superior High School football team concluded their 2023 season with a 60-20 loss to Sutton at Superior Thursday night. It was not the outcome those in attendance for Parents and Senior Night were hoping for. Unfortunately for Superior, they ended their season with an 0-8 record. The Superior High School cross country team competed at the District D-4 meet run over the 5K Hastings Elks Club Golf Course, Thursday. The Wildcats competed against teams and runners from 24 schools for a place at the state meet. The Superior boys team finished in 11th place with 117 points. The Lawrence-Nelson High School volleyball team downed the Blue Hill Bobcats in three sets, 25-22, 25-12 and 25-18, last Tuesday at Blue Hill. The Raiders hosted a triangular match at Lawrence, Thursday. They downed High Plains Community, 25-22 and 25-19, in two sets.The Bruning-Davenport-Shickley Eagles handed the Raiders a two set, 9-25 and 10-25, loss.
