    William "Bill" Hill of Superior, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, in Omaha with family by his side. Bill owned and operated the Superior Style Shop for more than 11 years and managed the Plains Motel while farming on his land near Superior. Bill had an undeniable warmth, friendliness and laugh that left a lasting impression. Bill loved meeting people and hearing their stories, which he continued until his death.     The Superior High School volleyball team fell to the Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders in three sets, 17-25, 16-25 and 25-27, in their season opener at Superior, Thursday. The Crusaders are a Class C-1 school while the Wildcats are in Class C-2. The match marked the debut of Randall Loch as head coach of the Wildcats.     The Superior High School girls golf team continues their impressive season. The newly formed team took home a fourth place finish from the Kearney Catholic Invitational played over 18 holes at Meadowlark Hills Golf Course, Thursday. The 10 teams in the field were Broken Bow, Grand Island Central Catholic, Kearney Catholic, Cozad, Gothenburg, St. Paul, Arcadia-Loup City, Doniphan-Trumbull and Ravenna.     By the time the Superior Wildcats football team shook off their first game jitters, the Centennial Broncos held a 14-0 lead. Superior’s defense sputtered at the opening of the first quarter. while their play vastly improved, it was too little too late. Superior trailed 14-0 after the first period.
