Friday evening the weather was pleasant in Nelson at Elk Creek County Club. It was a great way to finish up the season for the Couples’ Summer Golf league. This week golfers played a par 3. Kay Harvey, 76, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022 at Stonecrest Memory Care in Wood- bury, Minn. Kay was born Oct. 10, 1945, in rural Nebraska to her parents, George and Ruth Johnson. Eleanor Rose (Postlewait) Scott, 88, went to eternity with our Lord and Savior on Aug. 20, 2022. She died at the Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit, Kan. Born on Nov. 25, 1933. in Pueblo, Colo. Eleanor was the fifth child of seven and the second daughter of Cloyd C. and Mary M. Postlewait. Eleanor was a social little girl. This served her well as she moved around a lot with her family.
