Roger Lee Stineman, 50, the son of Wilford and Marianne (Sole) Stineman, was born on Jan. 16, 1970, in Superior. He died July 27, 2020, at his home in Nelson. Amaryllis Geraldine (Peterson) Eckles, was born to Enos and Gladys (Frye) Mazour on Oct. 21, 1933, on the family farm near Spring Ranch, Neb. Lois V. Clagett, 86, of Lincoln died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020. She was born in Emerald, Neb., on Sept. 11, 1933, to Vera (Scherer) and Adolph Priess. Her funeral was Aug. 6 at Lincoln Memorial Park in Lincoln. Neb. Carl Melvin Arent, 80, the son of Leslie and Cleo (Claflin) Arent, was born in Stockville, Neb., on Nov,4, 1939, and died Aug. 3, 2020. Carl grew up in various small farming communities in Nebraska. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he received his GED. After serving his country for four years, Carl was honorably discharged on Sept. 10, 1963. Florence Wauneta Schardt was born on Jan. 23, 1928, in Deshler, to Fred and Elsie Schardt. After graduating from high school and teacher training, she taught for five years in three different schools. At the age of 23, she married her sweetheart, Erwin Kniep, and joined him on his farm.
