Carl Allen Knarr, age 75, Jewell, Kansas resident, died June 30, 2023, at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Carl was born Feb. 18, 1948, to Harold D. and Ava L. Reagan Meyers is following in the footsteps of her older sisters as she enters her freshman year at Superior High School. Meyers is a member of the South Central Black U15 Club volleyball team. She was introduced to the national spotlight at the recent USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championship held at Chicago. The team finished in third place in the Liberty Division which had teams from California to Florida and everywhere in between competing. Meili Ost competed at the USATF Junior Olympics Region 9 track meet in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on July 8, 2023. Meili is a member of the Kansas Flyers track team based out of Minneapolis, Kansas. The Kansas Flyers track team includes girls from all over the state of Kansas, ages 8 to 18. Meili competed in the 13 to 14 age group 800 meter run and the 4x800 meter relay. Meili ran a personal best 2:30.96 in the 800 meter run earning a second place finish. Her relay also earned a second place finish....
