    Audrey Marie (Appleby) Diamond was born on Dec. 21, 1930, and died at The Good Samaritan Society Home in Superior, Neb., May 21, at the age of 90 years and 5 months. Audrey was born to Howard and Argie (Pierce) Appleby on their farm near Formoso. Audrey lived her entire life in Jewell County, with the exception of six summers when she attended Fort Hays State, acquiring a teaching certificate. Rosary was at 7:30 p.m., Monday, May 24, and Mass was at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, both at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lawrence with Father Loren Pohlmeier officiating.     Phyllis June Armstrong Vann died April 13, 2020, in Woodburn,Ore. She was born June 22, 1943, in Guide Rock. Phyllis moved from Superior to Oregon in 1976 with her daughter Cheri. After working as a seamstress making sports equipment,she retired in 2008. She lived with her daughter and son-in-law for the last nine years of her life.
