    The Superior High School boys golf team ended their 2022 season with a 14th place finish, with 465 strokes, in the 15 team District C-4 state qualifying match played over the Indianhead Golf Course, Grand Island, last Tuesday. The top 10 individual golfers qualify should their team not make it to state. If they are in the top 10 then they qualify. No individual golfers qualified from Superior.   • L-N track team at state meet in Omaha

    The Lawrence-Nelson boys and girls track team members who qualified for the state meet staged at Harry A. Burke High School, Omaha, Friday and Saturday, competed on the state stage. The girls team finished in 48th place, with one point, in the 48 team field. The boys team did not score any points. Emma Epley secured an eighth place finish in the 100 meter hurdles finals with her time of 16,21 seconds. Sydney Biltoft ran a 16.58 second preliminary heat but failed to advance to the finals....

  • RHHS boys take fourth at state sand greens tourney

    The Rock Hills High School boys golf team traveled to Downs to play in the state sand greens golf tournament hosted by Lakeside High School. The 18-hole match was played over the Downs Golf Course. The Grizzlies finished in fourth place, with 389 strokes, in the seven team field of Lakeside, St. John’s, Tipton Catholic, Pike Valley, Riley County and Chase.   • RHHS sending one to state track meet

    The Washington County High School track was the site of the Region 1A state qualifying meet Thursday. The Grizzlies boys team finished in 19th place with six points. The girls team was in 23rd place with one point. Nate Meyers, a freshman, will represent Rock Hills in the long jump at the state meet Friday and Saturday at Wichita.
