    Gary Allen Ward, 82, the son of Maurice and Merna (Boddye) Ward, was born on Sept. 20, 1938, in Fairbury. He died April 21, in Houston. Gary attended District 24 school through the eighth grade, and Fairbury High School. He farmed with his father until he got a job on the Rock Island Railroad as an engineer. He married Joy Fredricksen and this union was blessed with three children. He and Joy moved to Edgar where he started his own insurance agency and sold real estate. They later divorced.     Norman Robert Stenson, the son of Ira Everett and Ruth (Swihart) Stenson, was born Aug. 24, 1933, on a farm near Hardy, Neb. He died May 5, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Society Superior home at the age of 87 years, 8 months, 11 days. Norman was raised on the farm and attended school in Hardy, graduating from Hardy High School. He was a 40 plus year member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.     Robert E. “Bob” Watson, the son of Harlow Woodrow Watson and Merle Marie (Finch) Watson, was born Jan. 21, 1947, in Santa Maria, Calif., and died on May 3, 2021, at Stormont-Vail Health, Topeka, Kan., from complications because of pneumonia at the age of 74 years, 3 months, 11 days.     The funeral for Sharon Jean Martin was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Pastor Denise Grahm officiating. Burial followed in White Cemetery. Sharon was born Feb. 5, 1954, in Superior, Neb., to William and Edena Garman. She died May 5, 2021.
